This is the first official higher education center which teaches its own students on a specialized basis, one of the most applied and fundamental courses of Islamic courses upon permission of ministry of sciences, research and technology. This non-governmental center, beside brilliant successes it has achieved in the section of attendance education, has also had the merit of bringing about the possibility for others to avail themselves of the opportunity to benefit from their education as one of the centers of university in the field of electronic education by using Internet network for vaster group of interested persons. The main program of this project is presentation of all subjects adopted in the field of tradition sciences on virtual basis (non-attending) and granting official document to the educated persons who are able to pass successfully this course with high scientific output.
One of the modern and efficient methods for promotion of education and creation of possibility of learning for all the eager persons at any time and place is to benefit from possibility and merits of Internet network and electronic education. Considering the goals of the faculty and necessity to use the modern educational, connection instruments and means in the field of Islamic sciences and knowledge, this faculty began studying and survey of planning in this field as of 2002 on a centralized basis and due to divine graces, it presented its electronic course as of summer 2004 before other universities.
What are tradition sciences?
Tradition sciences, is a vast branch of theology and Islamic sciences. In this field, in addition to presenting general subjects, many of subjects required for acquaintance with Islamic knowledge are presented as basis subjects. Some of these subjects are: Arabic inflection, history of Islam, theology and Islamic beliefs, method of research etc., the specialized subjects of this course, too, are arranged in such a way that the it acquaints the student with the basics of extraction, understanding and study of traditions. Among major specialized subjects of this field are rejal, traditional expressions, tradition community, tradition jurisprudence and the like. Presently, this faculty admits in the Bachelor degree course students (150 credit units), in Master course (32 units) through nationwide entrance exams official, attending students.
