Ghaemmagham Farahani :

Mirza Abolghasem, son of Mirza Isa was born in 1193 Hegira and pursued studies in childhood. He was a capable minister with good sense of artistry and a poet and professor in prose and poetry and replaced his father as minister after his death. It is said when Abbasmirza was ill in Meshed, he asked Ghaemmagham to help him bring his son Mohammad Mirza to the throne and they swore in Emam reza shrine not to betray each other. After demise of Fathalishah in 1250, Ghaemmagham accomplished his treaty and caused Mohammad Mirza to accede to the throne and he chose Ghaemmagham as his prime minister. At the start of his office, Ghaemmagham saw the treasury void and empty and Iranian situation very shuffled and distorted. Thus, he began reforming the conditions and for progress of affairs, he even opposed the view of the king in some cases and this caused the king to become annoyed. Among his characters, was his opposition to extravagance and profiteering of foreigners and it is said that he did not offer Iranian interests to foreigners despite his life being threatened. Finally he was choked on orders from Mohammad shah in 1251 hegira in Hozkhaneh, Kakh Negarestan and his tomb is in ravagh Abolfotouh razi.
