Endowments :
The holy shrine of abdolazim , due to its sublime stance and degree, has had endowments which have been offered by believers to be used in the affairs of the holy shrine and other indicated cases.

C) Reasons of loss of endowments:
1- violation of endowments by Nader shah
2- the unrest caused after the murder of Nader shah
3- assignment of real estates to Ghajar princes and courtiers and even to foreign ambassadors
4- quarrelsome policies with Islam and Islamic traditions during the era of Pahlavi I and the second.
The status of endowments in the present era:
In general, from among old and present endowments of the holy shrine, presently over 20/256/503 square meters including 8 real estates remains which are Alaeen, Aliman, Deh kheir, Sinak, Khalazir, Maftun, Khuraeen including trade endowments in old Rey bazaar, Haram st.,Bazarr No and Abbasi caravanseray with different application including agriculture, cattle breeding, educational , industrial and trade, etc……(annex No. 1 and No.2).
A) the status of endowments before victory of islamic revolution
during the Pahlavi regime, in order to abolish the culture of endowments(as one of Islamic traditions) were first put to lease on 99 year basis with a very low price and then in 1971 in execution of a law entitled change the endowments to better condition, all endowments came out of endowment status except for a limited number of commercial units and a small sector of agricultural lands.
B) status of endowments after islamic revolution:
following the revolution and in execution of the order of emam Knomeini indicating the illegality of sale of endowed regions, the islamic consultative assembly approved some laws on under the law of cancellation of sale of endowed land based on which such lands were reinstated to the previous endowment position and upon approval of legal bill of renewal of contract of lease of endowed estates approved on 24/04/1979 were rescinded and it was ordained that the renewal of lease be done observing the endowments rights conditions. Measures taken towards reviving the endowments of abdolazim holy shrine are divided into two parts: from beginning of islamic revolution till 1990 and from 1990 up to now. Though some measures had been taken by authorities to revive endowment, no good results had been obtained.
C) Endowments in the modern management era:
Upon appointment of the new manager of holy shrine in 1990 by leader of revolution and his emphasis on care to be given to safeguarding the endowed lands,new plannings were made and some 6780 files were surveyed and prepared and following a decade of attempt and with the optimal use of endowments the measures were taken to make amendments with two principles in mind: care and speed and among the main programs was to identify the endowments and liberalizing part of the endowments , proper use of them and to obtain the deeds of the endowed domains upon agreement with competent authorities and justice official experts, judicial measures against profiteering and profit-seeking people and apparatuses which have not yet paid the endowment rights.
The major steps taken:
The revivification of endowments: by abundant efforts and follow-ups in the new management, which had been put aside and taken out of endowment due to wrong policies of the past kings, were returned to endowment status by the vote of commission of article 2 of executive regulations of law of abrogation of endowment deeds. It is noteworthy that th
e endowed Zargandeh is presently used by Russian embassy and Mahmoudabad endowment is at the disposal of Tehran refinery.
To ameliorate the endowments: to revivify endowments and act as per wishes of the endowers, in two cases where the endowed land had remained useless , upon taking permission from agent of vali faghih and administration of abdolazim , the following cases were given priority for better use and executive operation of which is under way:
1- the surface area 70660 square meters from Alaeen lands(no. 204 dist.12 Tehran) which are located in various projects of the municipality ans which price is evaluated as 6/545/120/000 Rials.
2- The surface area of 307742 sqms, of Khoraeen located in the project of Tehran and suburb subway urban railway which is evaluated as 13/540/648/000rials.
Setting endowed lands free:
Upon further studies made in recent years, it became clear that it is necessary to take some lands out of the hands of unfit people who do not consider themselves obliged to pay the rental of the endowed lands,thus to use the endowments properly, freeing these lands came in the plan of the organization and so far 4/467/909 square meters which is 30% of total endowed agricultural lands were expropriated and 7 cases merely as this has been set free by paying 23,733,440,83 rials.
Endowments rights: through follow-up with officials, the amount collected in 2005 amounts to 14,336,095,462 rials and also, the income from receipt of debt of tenants which was 165 million rials in 1991 amounted to 6,866,154,450 rials in 2005.
Helping the needy tenants: since some tenants were financially weak contributions have been made to 51 of them through cooperation section.
