He clearly understood that advice was useless because the beneficent critics were either banished or imprisoned or assassinated. So, they should be perished and mirza reza, to achieve his goals, managed to find a pistol after a lot of agony. First he tried to assassinate Nayeb saltaneh because he had seen many cruelties from him. But as though someone insinuated in him why he did not care about the main factor or the main person to blame for all these cruelties. That is the shah. But how to reach the shah. He knew that shah paid sporadic pilgrimages to shahrerey to the holy shrine as it was the policy of the kings to pretend they were followers of the pious leaders. Or they appeared in the religious ceremonies. Mirza awaited a lot for a long time day and night. The king turned round towards him and held out his hand to take the letter but suddenly he put the hand on his heart. The bullet had hit just the heart. The premier ordered the entourage to announce the king was just wounded and sat him quickly in the chariot positioning him in a way as if he was saluting to the crowd. The coach was quickly moving farther while the shah was dead. Hours later when people were witness to washing the blood shed from the shah on the holy shrine ground, they found out mirza Reza had killed the shah right in the same place as five years earlier the shah had deprived seyed jamaleddin assadabadi and the followers of their social life: the place was here the holy shrine of abdolazim.
